Meet the Team
Dr. Becky Meier-Gast
Veterinarian
Dr. Meier originally graduated from the University of Iowa in 1991 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then attended Iowa State University and graduated as a Veterinarian in 1995. Although she went to both of the major schools in Iowa, she is a Cyclone fan. Dr. Meier started in equine medicine and worked at Suffolks Down in Boston, Massachusetts. While working there, she also worked at the small animal clinic one day per week. After approximately one year, she decided that racetrack medicine was not for her.
Dr. Meier has a deep passion for animals, and she cares for all pets as if they were her own. She will stop at nothing to solve any problems with her patients, and shows deep pride in her work. When she isn't too busy with her three children, Dr. Meier enjoys gardening, where she grows her own vegetables. She loves eating healthy and organically, so don't let her catch you with a can of soda or you will get an earful!
Jordana Olson
Office Manager
Jordana has been with us since 2012 as a veterinary assistant. She has three Alaskan Malamutes and enjoys competing with them all over the midwest.
Grace Meier-Gast
Kennel Assistant
Grace has been a member of the team as a veterinary assistant since 2022. She loves cats and has one named Scratchy. She is currently in high school.
Wren Meier-Gast
Veterinary Assistant
Wren joined our team September 2017. He loves all animal and currently has two cats named Ash and Snoopy. He is going to school at St. Olaf for a chemistry degree but you will see him working on Saturdays, holidays, and breaks from school!
Cian Meier-Gast
Veterinary Assistant
Cian has been with us since 2016 and is a cat lover.
